Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding an additional position to the Command Center which is the hub of CMC patient flow. This position works closely with internal and external physicians, supervisors and leadership to facilitate safe movement of patients into appropriate inpatient rooms or areas of the hospital.
In this role you will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate safe patient throughput across the continuum of care. Command Center RN’s are trained to both transfer center and bed control functions.
Essential accountabilities include:
Minimum requirements include: Associates degree in Nursing. Two years of acute care experience as a Registered Nurse. Current RN license for the state of California and BLS certification.
Preferred requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or health related field. Three or more years of experience in Registered Nursing across a wide spectrum of Inpatient and ED specialties. Knowledge of EMTALA, call center operations, patient throughput, direct admissions and patient transfers.
