The Education Coordinator has direct responsibility for the coordination and supervision of the training programs in the pharmacy department. Provides leadership, oversight and coordination of pharmacy staff development and competency training. Actively promotes, facilitates and participates in educational activities and promotes the generation of new knowledge relevant to the practice of Pharmacy.
Bachelor degree in Pharmacy and 5 years experience in hospital pharmacy practice. PREFERRED: Pharm D. Completion of AHSP accredited residency program or advanced degree. Bilingual. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MINIMUM REQUIRED: Valid State of California Pharmacist license.
