The Director Talent Acquisition position is a vital member of our mission.

In this role you are responsible for the full cycle of Talent Acquisition which includes planning, sourcing, attracting, & recruiting talent as well as collaborating with other HR leaders in retention, succession planning & mobility for field level roles. You will provide leadership to these areas and partner with various leaders in the organization to set strategy and execute against business needs both current and future.

Based in Fresno, California, we are a multi-specialty healthcare system comprised of four hospitals; Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, Community Behavioral Health Center. Additionally, our system includes other health care facilities and a physician residency program in conjunction with the University of California, San Francisco. Our primary service area is 15,000-square-miles, and we're home to the only combined, burn and Level 1 trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento.

  • Oversee activities and set goals of the Talent Acquisition Team.
  • Design and implement a sourcing strategy to identify and attract the best candidates for Community Medical Centers.
  • Bring fresh ideas and insights to advance the Talent Acquisition strategy and vision for the future including Employment Branding, College Recruitment, Social Media Strategy, Internships, Visa Programs, Employee Referrals, etc.
  • Research and cultivate new and innovative recruiting sources to develop a pipeline of talent, including talent strategies for regional areas of concentration.
  • Consult with management to understand priorities and needs and establish a long-range talent plan.
  • Identify and develop strategies, services, and activities to support the current and future talent acquisition needs of the business.
  • Aggressively recruit well-qualified applicants from a variety of sources.
  • Build project timelines (recruiting plan) for new talent searches.
  • Work with senior management to identify and develop key talent for succession planning. 
  • Direct the preparation and monitoring of the capital and operating budgets for areas of his/her responsibility in order to maintain cost-effective, high quality services.



Minimum required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business or other relevant area preferred.
  • Seven to ten years of progressive HR/Talent Management experience.
  • Previous ATS experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with employment branding and social media strategy.


  • PHR, SPHR Certification (or SHRM equivalent) strongly preferred. Additional CA Certification helpful.
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business or other relevant area preferred.
