Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities

 

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding additional positions to the Registered Nurse Float Team. Our focus is to deliver high quality patient care throughout the facility such as Med Surg, Ortho, Cardiac, Pediatrics, Rehab, Neuro, ED, Burn, Stepdown ICU, and ICU.  On the Float Team; you will occasionally be asked to float to our sister facility – Clovis Community Hospital.  The Float Team conducts patient focused care through excellent critical thinking, communication, clinical judgement, and collaboration as a member of the multidisciplinary team. The role is conducive for individuals who are easily adaptable, maintain a life-long learning mentality, and strive for a fast-paced environment.

 

The Float Team is seeking nurses who value patient-focused care, exhibit excellent communication skills, and find enjoyment in collaborating with highly diverse care teams. Our nurses are accustomed to fast-paced environments, are easily adaptable, and welcome change on a daily basis. Float Nurses have a genuine devotion to assist patients and staff members by consistently being looked upon as a resource within any department and as an ambassador of our facility. The Float Team takes pride in our nurse’s ambition to expand their skill set through clinical practice, technology development, and facility-wide patient flow.

 

In this role you will  have the capability to float to any department where you have achieved validated competency. Your assignments will change on a daily basis to promote learning and foster diversity in your nursing skill set. The Float Team ensures your competency by providing education throughout the annual year in areas such as emergency, critical care, and med/surg. Float Team scheduling remains flexible to promote higher education achievement and an optimal work-life balance. The team is nurturing and supportive with a plethora of resources at your fingertips.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include; Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.  Current RN license for the state of California, BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
