Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is seeking an Ultrasound Supervisor! Our Ultrasound department is dedicated to advanced imaging technology that offers a number of different specializations when it comes to medical sonography. Our hospital-based Sonography training program at CRMC is one of two in the entire nation that is accredited in all four sonography disciplines (General Sonography, Adult Cardiac Echo, Pediatric Echo and Vascular Sonography). Performs laboratory procedures in the technical section that is authorized by the laboratory Medical Director within the scope of their knowledge and prioritizes workflow with regard to patient's clinical status. Performs testing and reports results that are classified as Waived or Moderate complex by CLIA guidelines. Performs quality control policies and procedures in the laboratory. Performs preventative maintenance, trouble shooting and calibration procedures relative to the scope of their responsibility. Maintains documentation of quality control activities, instrument, and procedure calibrations and maintenance performed. Performs various clerical duties and Phlebotomy procedures as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: AS/AA degree. Graduation from The National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or Laboratory Field Services (LFS) approved training program for Medical Laboratory Technician. (U.S. military laboratory programs qualify).
PREFERRED: One to two years’ experience as a Phlebotomist or Laboratory Assistant in a clinical laboratory setting.
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current State of California Medical Laboratory Technician license (MLT).
