    We are looking for an HR professional who is experienced in Employee Relations and thrives on a fast paced environment, complex work, and is committed to excellence in their profession.

    You will be welcomed and supported by a team of 5 peers who are working right alongside you; experiencing the same challenges and celebrating the same wins – it is truly a collaborative group!  Our Employee Relations Director and Vice President of HR are both highly involved; they bring a wealth of HR and industry knowledge to lead this team and provide guidance to you in your career. 


    In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

    • Successfully utilizes knowledge of the HR field including federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations to address and resolve issues related to the day-to-day management of employees.
    • Uses critical thinking and problem solving skills to navigate through and resolve ambiguous, confidential and sensitive situations and issues of a complex nature while providing flexible solutions.
    • Effectively prioritizes assignments in a fast paced and complex work environment.  
    • Effectively and efficiently conducts internal investigations and demonstrates the ability to clearly define issues/allegations, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and make educated recommendations based on facts while maintaining professional objectivity throughout.
    • Provides effective and consistent consultative day-to-day guidance to leaders on various HR related operational issues (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).  


    Necessary skills for this role include:

    • Proven ability to develop strong trusting relationships in order to gain support and achieve results.
    • Demonstrated mediation skills, necessary to find common ground between parties when conflicts arise and for achieving resolution.
    • Proven ability to effectively conduct internal investigations applying the necessary critical thinking skills while maintaining demonstrated professional objectivity throughout.
    • Ability to collaborate with HR colleagues to effectively address operational needs.

    Experience and education minimum requirements:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) is required.
    • Three years diverse HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience required. Combination of education and relevant HR background may be substituted.
