Overview

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities

Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is adding an additional RN position to its Interventional Pre Procedure Unit (PICA). PICA is a 10 bed unit with RN to patient ratio of 1:4.

Community Regional Medical Center is seeking nurses like you for challenging 12 hour shifts.

 

In this role you will work closely with various Cardiology teams preparing and recovering patients for heart catheterizations, Pacemakers, Ablations and AICD. The PICA unit specializes in conscious sedation for Trans esophageal Echocardiograms and Cardio versions. If you join our team, you will become skilled in the management and removal of arterial lines as well as the newest arterial pressure devices. You will be part of a small but comprehensive team that closely monitors the hemodynamics of a variety of patients with numerous comorbidities. You will become highly attuned to the subtle changes that Cardiovascular patients can have, while building communication, problem solving and teaching skills.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include: Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program.  Current RN license for the state of California and BLS & ACLS certification.

  • Ability to work closely with Cardiovascular team members.
  • Excellent communication & problem solving skills.
  • Desire to work closely with skilled Surgeons and Cardiologists in all areas of this specialty.
