The Innovation Performance Improvement Specialist is a vital member of our mission.

 

In this position you will coordinate specific facility-wide innovation and performance improvement projects that are developed and administered in alignment with the facility’s strategic goals. Promotes the facility’s capacity to adopt innovative approaches to problem-solving and to sustain a high-performance improvement environment.

Responsibilities

  • Participates in the development of facility-based innovation and performance improvement strategies.
  • Coordinates and participates in innovation and performance improvement projects by providing a range of roles as required by the project’s plan.
  • Champions a culture of innovation and performance improvement to ensure the sharing of ideas across the organization.
  • Analyzes data to identify trends, patterns and performance levels that suggest opportunities for improvement.
  • Develops data collection structure, method, plan, and format to insure meaningful data is being collected, analyzed, and displayed graphically in order to facilitate innovation and performance improvement.
  • Assesses and provides recommendations on key performance indicators.
  • Cultivates key stakeholder affiliations through relationship-building, planning, and change management.
  • Researches and promotes best practices for workflow practices.
  • Creates and executes effective curriculum/training plans, providing subject matter expertise needed to facilitate innovation and performance improvement efforts.

Qualifications

Minimum required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, or related field. Three to five years’ experience in Performance Improvement activities in healthcare or related field.

 

Preferred: 

Master’s degree in Business, Health Care Management, Organizational Development, or related field.
