Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is searching for a Registered Nurse for our American College of Surgeons, Verified Level I trauma center. The Trauma Program at CRMC is the only Level I Trauma Center in California’s Central Valley. The regional trauma center cares for adult and pediatric patients from 7 referral counties. Active in trauma research and evidenced based care, patients are managed by a specialized team of Surgical Critical Care Boarded physicians from admission to discharge. Trauma prevention, outreach education, annual trauma symposium, and regional trauma system activities allow nurses to participate in community service opportunities.
In this role you will work in collaboration with the Trauma Program leadership and be responsible for the coordination and facilitation of the Trauma Performance Improvement Program at CRMC. Performance improvement activities include, but are not limited to; data collection, analysis, action plan development, implementation and participation in the Trauma Quality Improvement Program (TQIP).
Minimum requirements include: Current RN license for the state of California (or willing to obtain CA RN License), Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and BLS certification.
