Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. In this role you will work in collaboration with other health providers (such as physicians, social workers, or chaplains) within the context of an interdisciplinary team. Composed of highly qualified, specially trained professionals and volunteers, the team blends their strengths together to anticipate and meet the needs of the patient and family facing terminal illness and bereavement.
Graduation from a School of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in Nursing to qualify for California licensure.
Approximately one year experience in the field of Palliative Care, geriatric or end of life care or a related nursing specialty.
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current State of California Registered Nurse License. Current BLS certification. End-of-Life Nursing Education Consortium (ELNEC), to be completed within 3 months of hire.
PREFERRED: BSN Preferred.
