    Who you are:

    You’re a Speech Language Pathologist that is self-motivated, enthusiastic, detail-oriented and passionate about speech therapy and delivering world class patient care in a hospital setting.



    What you’ll do:

    • Identification of signs and symptoms that signal appropriateness for SLP examination and also the actual examination, evaluation, planning, organizing, and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients.
    • Participates in case conferences and discharge planning.
    • Develops and implements developmentally and culturally appropriate education to meet needs of patient and family.
    • Communicates effectively with other patient care team members and coordinates care provided. 
    • Coordinates/supervises student clinical education.
    • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team.
    • Work about 8-24 hours a week (weekends and holidays)



    You’re our ideal candidate if:

    • You have excellent verbal and written communication.
    • You have a minimum of two years of experience in SLP.
    • You are motivated with a strong desire to make an impact.
    • You possess strong time management skills.
    • You have a proven track record of being detail-oriented and organized.
    • You have the ability to work proactively and independently, while exercising good judgement.
    • Have medical experience or the availability to train in the medical environment.
    • You have critical thinking skills and the ability to work in a colloborative team. 
    • You want to work weekends. 



    • Two years of experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
    • Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, or eligible for the Clinical Fellowship Year.(CFY)
    • State of California Speech-Language Pathology license.
    • Current BLS certification.

    Preferred: Master's or Doctorate.
