Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is seeking a Sonographer 3! Our Ultrasound department is dedicated to advanced imaging technology that offers a number of different specializations when it comes to medical sonography. Our hospital-based Sonography training program at CRMC is one of two in the entire nation that is accredited in all four sonography disciplines (General Sonography, Adult Cardiac Echo, Pediatric Echo and Vascular Sonography). CRMC provides central California residents with the highest level of care available in the region and is committed to meet the Valley’s health care needs.
Experience/Education Requirements: High School Diploma and fulfill prerequisite of American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification. PREFERRED: Bachelor’s Degree. *New Grads are encouraged to apply.
Licenses/Certifications: Current BLS certification.
General Sonographer in Medical Imaging: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) certification in at least two areas: must have Abdomen or Ob/Gyn and any combination of the following: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn, Breast, Fetal Echo, Pediatric Sonography and/or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in Vascular (RVS) and 5 or more years clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography. - OR - ARDMS certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification in Vascular (RVS) combined with at least one other specialty exam including: Abdomen or Ob/Gyn and 3 or more years clinical experience in diagnostic medical sonography.
