CRMC is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. What can you expect as an RN with Community Regional Medical Center?
This Pediatric RN will provide direct patient care to pediatric patients presenting to the CRMC Emergency Department. The Pediatric RN will also be a pediatric resource of other CRMC ED RN’s caring for pediatric patients in the department. Direct patient care to pediatric patients will be primarily limited to lower acuity patients in the Pediatric Care Area of the ED. This area is currently open every day from 11 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.
The role of the clinical nurse is to deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs with the highest professional standard while promoting nursing excellence through continued education and research, based on the Title 22 and Title 16, the ANA Scope & Standards of Practice, the Code of Ethics. Delivery of patient care in the Central Valley’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. Learn how to care for the all levels and ages of patients with medical concerns and injuries ranging from the common cold to heart attacks and strokes to broken bones and major trauma. All of our ED physicians are part of the UCSF Fresno Emergency Medical Service and that makes our department a place where the emphasis is on education and teaching. Minimum requirements include: Graduation from an accredited registered nursing program. Current RN license for the state of California and BLS certification.
