Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. CRMC is home to the only Level 1 Trauma Center and has the only comprehensive burn care in the Valley serving 2.5 million people within 9 counties. The 56,000 square-foot emergency department is one of the largest and busiest in the state. We have an 84 bed Level 3 NICU and a brand new pediatric specialty care unit. Future plans include building a women and children’s facility on campus and expanding with 65 additional beds.

As the Director, you will be responsible for the development, coordination and administration of Respiratory Care program in accordance with CMC mission and goals. You will serve as liaison to physicians, medical groups, hospital staff, community and vendors. The Director is responsible for overseeing maintenance of the program and of high quality patient care. Additionally, you will work with medical and hospital staff to coordinate the delivery of comprehensive, high quality, cost effective respiratory services within CRMC. As the leader of Respiratory, you will provide general guidance to the Respiratory Manager, team of Supervisors and staff.


Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Graduation from an AMA school of Respiratory Care with approximately three to five years of relevant experience. Significant experience in a leadership role in service/program area. Current state of California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and Registered Respiratory Therapist from NBRC. Current BLS, ACLS certification.


Preferred: Hospital, healthcare or not-for-profit industry experience. Master's degree.
