Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Are you looking to shape the next generation of pharmacists? We have an excellent opportunity as a Student Coordinator in our Pharmacy department. Community Regional is looking for a Pharmacist who is interested in the educational development of our pharmacy students. This Pharmacist will be responsible for developing a comprehensive pharmacy student development program for both hospital-based and outpatient-based students. The Student Coordinator will precept pharmacy residents and students and will provide leadership, oversight and coordination of the student’s development and competency training.
You should be an experienced Pharmacist with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in hospital pharmacy practice. To be eligible, you will need a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and a valid State of California Pharmacist license. We would prefer our Student Coordinator Pharmacist to have a Pharm D and have completed an ASHP accredited residency program. You should also have a strong interest in student education and development. The ideal candidate will have excellent public speaking and teaching abilities.
