Community Regional Medical Center is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. In this role, you will manage and oversee Community Medical Center’s Emergency Preparedness Program including the development, implementation and monitoring of numerous Emergency Operations and Continuity of Operations Plans within the system.


You will ensure that a Hazard Vulnerability Assessment is completed for all required entities under CMC facility licensure.  Additionally, you will establish monitoring and tracking systems to ensure that CMC staff, policies, procedures, etc. are compliant with regulatory requirements. This role facilitates the development of emergency preparedness drills and activities in conjunction with site specific leadership teams. The Program Manager completes After Action Reports for all drills, including assignment of responsible party, establishing deadlines and monitoring completion and communicates incomplete assignments to site specific leadership.


Additionally, this role  coordinates Hospital Preparedness Program grant fund applications, as well as, monitoring of award, invoicing, inventory, etc. You will work closely with site and system leadership to manage Emergency Preparedness meetings  and to prepare for and successfully complete various regulatory and accreditation survey activities.


Bachelors degree in Emergency Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or related field. Five years experience may be substituted in lieu of education.
