In this valuable position you will be part of the evaluating, planning, and implementing of specific treatment programs for individual patients. You will be establishing a plan of care, utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment and techniques within the scope of occupational therapy.

Based in Fresno, California, we are a multi-specialty healthcare system comprised of four hospitals; Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, Community Behavioral Health Center. Additionally, our system includes other health care facilities and a physician residency program in conjunction with the University of California, San Francisco. Our primary service area is 15,000-square-miles, and we're home to the only combined, burn and Level 1 trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento.
You will educate your patient and/or the caregiver about the findings of the evaluation, goals of the occupational therapy program, plan of treatment, home programs, injury prevention, and other related information. This position will be responsible for communicating effectively and working cooperatively with other patient care team members. You will assist in directing OT Assistants, Volunteers, Interns and Students in their caseloads, including treatment planning, goal setting, progress evaluation and documentation. This position is also responsible for assessing, managing, and treating age-related physiological, emotional and cognitive needs of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups.
