Overview

CRMC is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers – a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Responsibilities

Functions as a member of the multidisciplinary health team; carries out established nursing procedures following hospital policy, and functions in a variety of settings.  Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care efficiently with the awareness of the goals of the unit and/or organization.  Reports to the Float Team Manager and works closely with the Hospital Supervisors to meet the operational needs of the facility.  Supports staff and patients as a clinical leader/expert in vascular access, focusing on PICC line placement.  Assists competency assessment of PICC certified staff.  Evaluates and makes recommendations for vascular access equipment and supplies. 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIRED:

Fundamental nursing skills which would normally be gained through graduation from an accredited School of Nursing or successful completion of sufficient units in Nursing to qualify for State Licensure. 

  • Current California RN license 
  • BLS
  • 2+ years PICC Line experience
  • Certified as a PICC RN through an accredited PICC line course

 

Preferred:

  • BSN
  • VA-BC (Vascular Access- Board Certified)
