Responsibilities

As the RN Manager, Cath Lab, you will provide operational, clinical and financial leadership overseeing Cardiac Cath Lab, Invasive Cardiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology and the Post Interventional Cardiac Area (PICA). Leading a team of approximately 75 registered nurses, sonographers, electrocardiogram technicians and radiologic technologists, you will drive department performance through strategic staffing, quality improvement, regulatory compliance and employee development. In partnership with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, you will support the growth of diagnostic, interventional, electrophysiology and vascular services while advancing cardiovascular and heart and lung program initiatives. Using data-informed decision making, you will identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency and the overall care experience. 

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required 
  • Demonstrated expertise in the service area and leadership ability required 
  • 3 years of relevant experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required 
  • Previous leadership experience in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required 
  • Seeking a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience 

Licenses and Certifications 

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
