The Pharmacy Information Systems (IS) Specialist is a critical infrastructure management position that develops and promotes Pharmacy Technology at Community Medical Centers including: development, building, implementation, and maintenance of all aspects of Pharmacy Applications. Interacts with pharmacy and corporation staff to determine the appropriate formatting of all modules and reports. Assists in the development of staff education to appropriately educate all Pharmacy Services staff on the computer applications. Supports the mission and core values of Community Medical Centers through responsible and effective work performance.

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required
Experience
Progressively responsible experience in pharmacy, computer applications of pharmacy practice including implementation and development of new computer systems, and providing staff education and development required
Must have recent inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience (ideally within the last 4 years).
Licenses and Certifications
RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required
