Responsibilities

We are looking for a Physician Liaison to join our growing team! You will be integral in identifying service needs and facilitating physician referral development consistent with Community Health System's mission and goals. From managing and enhancing effective relations with physicians, to achieving goals and objectives in improving engagement of physicians, to the annual operating budget, you will work closely with multiple departments promoting a sense of Community Health System's service excellence.

In your role, you will:

  • Develop and execute physician referral development specific goals and objectives consistent with the assigned service line strategies. Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with physicians and referral coordinators to identify service needs and facilitate referral development.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing prospect lists of physicians to recruit for CMC Medical Staff. Develop market specific strategy for each physician prospect in the service line assigned. Develop and maintain a physician database, including existing referral patterns.
  • Analyze, select, implement, and evaluate programs necessary to support the strategic direction of physician referral development in the assigned service line. Facilitate problem-solving and resolution of physician-oriented concerns.
  • Collaborate with Administration to design, support and enhance program development strategies and operations to sustain competitive advantage, ensure Community Health System's hospitals are hospitals of choice for physicians, and support and enhance CMC mission and goals.                                   

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing required
• Master's Degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred
• Associate's Degree and 3 years of related experience may be substituted for the education/experience requirement
 
Experience
• 1 year of experience interacting with physicians in an office setting required
• Experience interacting with physicians in an office setting, preferably with sales based experience such as pharmaceutical or medical device sales preferred
