Responsibilities

As Director Patient Safety – Infection Preventionyou’re committed to the positive retention and engagement of your team members. You recognize effective communication as a top priority. Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or another licensed clinical healthcare discipline required.


Experience
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible clinical experience in an acute care healthcare setting required.
•Five (5) years of leadership experience in patient safety, infection prevention, quality, risk management, or a closely related
clinical discipline required.

• Demonstrated success leading organization-wide quality, patient safety, or infection prevention initiatives required.
Experience with regulatory readiness, accreditation surveys, infection surveillance, and continuous performance improvement
required.


Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required. Candidates with an
unrestricted California license in another applicable clinical profession (e.g., Registered Pharmacist or other licensed
healthcare professional) may be considered when they possess exceptional qualifications in patient safety, infection
prevention, and healthcare quality leadership.
• Certified in Infection Control (CIC) required within three (3) years of hire or transfer into the position.
