Responsibilities

As Director Patient Safety – Infection Preventionyou’re committed to the positive retention and engagement of your team members. You recognize effective communication as a top priority. Qualifications

Education

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required

  • Completion of a 1-year Pharmacy Residency Program (PGY1) may be substituted for 3 years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in an acute care facility

 

Experience

  • 3 years of experience as a Clinical Pharmacist in an acute care facility required

  • 5 years of experience in a leadership role in service/program area required

  • Proven experience in leading continuous improvement required

  • Training in Infectious Diseases/Infection Control and Prevention required

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • RPH - Registered Pharmacist with valid State of California Pharmacist License required

  • CBIC-CIC - Certified Infection Control required within 3 years of hire or transfer into position
