Responsibilities

The Manager of Annual Giving provides strategic leadership for the department’s annual fundraising programs, driving donor acquisition and retention and developing multi-channel campaigns designed to increase philanthropic participation and revenue. This role oversees the execution and evaluation of annual appeals, employee giving initiatives, and direct-response fundraising communications. Additionally, the Manager develops sophisticated donor segmentation plans and data-driven strategies to strengthen long-term philanthropic pipeline development.

 
A collaborative partner, the Manager works with department leadership, development staff, communications, and operations to align annual initiatives with overarching organizational priorities. By leveraging donor data and campaign analytics, this role optimizes the donor experience, improves giving participation rates, and establishes sustainable philanthropic growth across the organization.
 

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field required

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in annual giving or direct response fundraising, with a proven track record of meeting revenue targets required
