Responsibilities

Located on the Community Regional campus, Burnett Extended Care Center is our brand-new 154-bed transitional care facility opening this summer. Purpose-built to serve patients transitioning from hospital to home, Burnett includes specialized units — Memory Care, Long-Term Care and Transitional Care — that focus on quality, comfort and continuity of care. This environment offers nurses the opportunity to provide patient-centered care across diverse needs in a collaborative, post-acute setting.

  • Design, implement and evaluate clinical education programs that support regulatory compliance and high-quality resident care.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions — both classroom and hands-on — while supporting new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with leadership to assess training needs, develop ongoing education plans and promote clinical competency across the team.
  • Lead regular competency assessments and support the implementation of policies that maintain care standards and regulatory readiness.

At Burnett Care Center, your leadership in staff development will help shape a nursing team prepared to meet the complex needs of our residents with confidence, compassion and clinical excellence.
