Responsibilities

Community Regional Medical Center’s Pharmacy Department is a high-volume, collaborative environment focused on safe, efficient medication use across the organization. The team includes a large, multi-shift group of skilled pharmacists who partner closely with nursing and clinical leaders to support patient care around the clock. This department values visible leadership, accountability and clear communication, with a shared commitment to regulatory readiness, medication safety and continuous improvement.

As Supervisor, Pharmacy, you will provide frontline leadership and operational oversight for a team of approximately 25 to 26 pharmacists. This role oversees scheduling, coaching, performance management and competency follow-up while serving as a primary resource for daily issue resolution, including after-hours and weekend support as needed. You will help ensure appropriate staffing coverage, support medication distribution operations and optimize workflows related to automated dispensing systems and the electronic health record. The supervisor collaborates with nursing and other departments to address operational challenges, support regulatory compliance, implement policies and lead process improvement efforts, balancing day-to-day priorities with longer-term departmental goals.
