Qualifications

Education

  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care required

  • A graduate of an approved Respiratory Care Program is required

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • RCP - State of California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required

  • RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist w/ NBRC required

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required

  • PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position. PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support Certification not required for incumbents working at Fresno Heart and Surgical Hospital (FHSH) or at Community Subacute and Transitional Care Center (CSTCC)

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position

  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program if working in NICU required within 180 days of hire or transfer into position
