Responsibilities

As the Supervisor of Sterile Processing at Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, you’ll lead a close-knit team within a 57-bed specialty hospital known for its welcoming, supportive environment. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations to ensure efficient instrument processing for hospital-wide use, support budget preparation and reporting and coordinate staff education to maintain competency and compliance. You will help ensure a safe workspace by upholding departmental policies, procedures and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications

Education & Experience 

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required 
  • 3 years of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or Surgical Technician in the healthcare industry or a healthcare setting required 
  • Previous supervisory experience required 

 

Licenses and Certifications 

  • CRCST - Certified Registered Central Services Technician Certification from HSPA required or 
  • CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician Certification from CBSPD required
