Responsibilities

The Core Measure Abstractor is accountable for the collection and data entry of detailed clinical information obtained from medical records in accordance with established guidelines.

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Completion of college or vocational level anatomy and physiology courses required
 
Experience
• 1 year of medical record, healthcare support, or related experience required
• Experience working with patient charts and EHR systems preferred
