The Financial Analyst is responsible for providing financial, analytical, and reporting support to assist in operational and strategic decision making for Community Health Partners (CHP). This individual collaborates with various inter-departmental teams and external partners to develop reports and dashboards that measure and trend key performance metrics. Assists with the design, development, and maintenance of reporting systems for business operations. Participates in other projects as directed.
Accountabilities
1. Provides financial, analytical, and reporting support to Administration and practices.
2. Coordinates assigned projects and program reporting under the general supervision of the Finance Manager/Supervisor.
3. Utilizes data analytics software to develop and/or maintain routine reports, ad hoc reports, and complex calculations.
4. Researches, reconciles, and validates data to ensure integrity of reports and other end-products.
5. Performs data retrieval, manipulation of data, and summarizes data into usable format. Prepares graphs, charts, and other tools as needed to enable easier understanding of financial data.
6. Assists with the maintenance and review of the provider roster. Performs checks and balances to ensure utmost accuracy.
7. Assists in reporting and analyzing physician work RVUs, incentive bonuses, payroll activity, and/or monthly department financials.
8. Reviews and analyzes physician contracts and professional service agreements to ensure comprehensive understanding of finance-related contractual terms. Generates and reviews check requests, contract schedules, and/or reconciliations as applicable.
9. Assists in the development of departmental budgets, forecasts, proformas, and other similar projects.
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
