Responsibilities

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist 1, functions as a Scientific Technologist (Chemistry) is an entry level position that will be trained in Nuclear Medicine related imaging modalities. Works closely with the Nuclear Medicine Physician while performing the full spectrum of diagnostic imaging, analyzing biological specimens, assisting with therapeutic and diagnostic procedures. Responsible for patient safety protocols, maintaining all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements and participates in CQI activities.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Graduate from an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Associate's degree in related field.

 


Licenses and Certifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current BLS certification.
California State Department of Health Services’ certificate as "Certified Technologist, Nuclear Medicine" all scopes including venipuncture.
