Responsibilities

From education and discharge planning to lactation support, your role leads to happy, healthy discharges for parents and baby. Both Community Regional Medical Center and Clovis Community Medical Center have been recognized by the Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care. These high standards for integrated, patient-centered care are met as a team. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide support throughout the women’s service line. The Clovis OB unit has 40 beds with a 1:4 or lower patient:nurse ratio. 

Qualifications

Education
• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
 
Experience
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
 
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
