Responsible for concurrent review of clinical documentation and query of the physicians, residents and other care givers as necessary via prompters/verbal communication to obtain accurate and complete documentation, charge entry and/or charge code which appropriately supports the severity of illness, the intensity of service and a complete and accurate encounter.

• Two years acute care or ambulatory experience and two years coding experience.
• Strong pathophysiology and disease management background with understanding of elements of disease processes and related procedures.
