This is the second level of the four level job series within the Community Health System's Information Technology Services, Electronic Health Record (EHR) Technical Services department. EHR Systems Administrators design and maintain the organization's clinical application architecture and assesses current and future state technologies, processes and procedures to identify areas for improvement. A level two EHR Systems Administrator is responsible for the software architecture, specification generation, analysis, installation, customization, implementation and technical training, while working with stakeholders and other internal and external teams. Participates and periodically leads in the development of documentation and implementation of assigned tasks and projects related to the department with guidance. Demonstrates a proficient level understanding of operating systems and system administration of applications/databases. This role operates with some guidance and demonstrates the ability to coordinate simple projects with guidance. This position will primarily focus on Epic ECSA (Epic Client Systems Administrator) and Data Courier duties
- Onsite requirement: Remote - CA Only with occasional onsite presence within 48 hours notice.
- Standard Schedule: Basic office hours (e.g., 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). Start time of 7:00 AM is the earliest standard start.
- On-Call Rotation: After acclimation, the individual will be on-call one week every eight weeks (Monday morning to the following Monday morning) while keeping to their regular work schedule.
