Works limited time status under the direction of the RN mentor to provide patient care using defined procedures and standards in accordance with the goals of the unit and the philosophy of Community Medical Centers. At our Clovis Community ICU Stepdown, you will be part of the essential care provided for our diverse patient population. In this 30-bed unit, you will work closely with a collaborative team tasked with caring for patients ranging from moderate to high acuity, including complex medical and surgical patients, chronic ventilator patients, and more. This is the perfect opportunity to advance your career, all while being part of the largest healthcare system in the Central Valley.
Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Enrolled in a school of nursing. Completion of first semester in an ADN Nursing Program or second semester in a BSN Nursing Program. Enrolled in the work study program associated with school of nursing attended required.
Licenses and Certifications
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
