Responsibilities

The Legal Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to Legal services, ensuring efficient processes, systems, and workflows. This role assists with maintaining legal documentation, vendor relationships, legal billing, and legal technology tools. The Legal Operations Coordinator works closely with attorneys, paralegals, and interdepartmental teams to support the delivery of legal services.
 
 

Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Paralegal certificate or business/legal operations coursework preferred

 

Experience

  • 2 years of experience in an administrative support or a law firm setting required
  • Experience with legal technology platforms (e.g., CLM systems, e-billing, document management tools, e-signature platforms) preferred
  • Experience working with attorneys and paralegals preferred
  • Needs someone who takes initiative, identifies inefficiencies, and proactively proposes solutions.
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Must be comfortable with Word Developer Tab (needs to be a backup developer).
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations (uniformity/attention to alignment is critical).
