Responsibilities

Accountable for organizing and coordinating the daily work flow of the Business Office. Assist in the administration of policies and procedures, develops new protocols and monitors the work of the department to ensure optimum performance.

 

Accountabilities

1. Keeps Manager informed of any Business Office issues/concerns through good communication skills.
2. Leads administrative personnel in performing daily work.
3. Monitors, analyzes and documents unit work quality and quantity on a regular basis. Reviews assignments and procedures as appropriate to ensure optimum unit performance.
4. Performs various secretarial related duties which include ordering office supplies, preparing correspondence, and maintaining files and inventory.
5. Acts as a liaison between the Business Office and other CMC departments, physicians and CMC vendors with regard to the process of routine work and problem solving.
6. Assists the SC in Business Office policies and procedure writing.
7. Performs special projects as directed.
8. Assigns work duties of patient account billers and patient financial counselors.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school graduate/GED.
