Responsibilities

The Pharmacy Procurement Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the cost-effective and compliant procurement of pharmaceuticals across the health system. This role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The coordinator collaborates with pharmacy staff, management, and external partners to provide oversight related to cost management, drug availability (e.g., backorders, etc.), contract analysis/compliance, pricing accuracy, 340B compliance, billing analysis/compliance, and regulatory violations.
 
 

Qualifications

Education
• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
 
Experience
• 3 years of pharmacy purchasing and/or 340B program experience required
 
Licenses and Certifications
• RXTECH - State of California Pharmacy Technician License required
 
Working Conditions:
• May require occasional evening, weekend, or on-call shifts for urgent procurement, 340B, or split billing issues.
• Involves light lifting of medications and travel to support oversight across multiple facilities.
