Responsibilities

As the largest healthcare system in the Central Valley, Community offers the opportunity to lead meaningful, data-driven improvements in care and operations. As Manager of Managed Care Analytics, you’ll play a pivotal role in turning complex payer data into insights that inform contract strategy, optimize reimbursement, and improve performance across departments.

  • Lead a team of analysts to develop, validate, and refine models supporting payer contract negotiations and implementation.
  • Oversee accurate interpretation and loading of payer contracts into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and modeling systems.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership through reporting on payment rates, denial trends, and contract compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, Patient Financial Services, and Managed Care to evaluate service line performance and assess reimbursement impact of new services and programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Health Administration, Statistics or a related field required
    • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 15 or more years of progressive experience in Revenue Cycle may be considered
  • 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare analytics, managed care contracting, revenue cycle, or related fields required
  • 3 years in a supervisory or management role, with demonstrated experience leading analyst teams and driving cross-functional collaboration required
  • Strong background in payer contract analysis, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare data systems (e.g., EHRs, contract modeling platforms, BI tools) required
