Responsibilities

Clovis Community — voted ‘Best Hospital’ 11 years in a row by Valley residents — is a top choice for comprehensive care across a range of specialties. With 352 all-private patient rooms and expanded access to services, this facility delivers complex, high-acuity care to patients throughout our region. As Director of Adult Inpatient Services, you’ll oversee a team of nearly XX clinical and support staff across ICU, Medical-Surgical, Cardiac Progressive Care Unit, and Stepdown areas.

  

  • Lead the daily operations, strategy, and clinical care standards across key inpatient units in alignment with organizational priorities and regulatory standards. 
  • Partner with nursing leaders, physicians, and support teams to foster a collaborative, high-performing care environment focused on safety and patient outcomes. 
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance while driving operational efficiency and quality improvements. 
  • Serve as a liaison to internal stakeholders and external partners including medical groups, community organizations, and accrediting agencies. 
  • Champion team development and continuous improvement by supporting mentorship, clinical learning, and a culture of excellence.

Qualifications

Education & Experience  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or equivalent combination of education and experience required 
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for Bachelor's degree 
  • 5 years of clinical experience in a surgical services setting required 
  • 2 years of management experience required 

 

Licenses and Certifications  

  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
