Responsibilities

Located at Community Regional  home to the region’s only Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive burn center our Radiology team plays a vital role in delivering advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist I I, you’ll join a collaborative procedural team working alongside physicians to support a wide variety of cases ranging from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular and therapeutic interventions. 

  • Operate advanced imaging equipment including single and bi-plane fluoroscopic angiography systems, ultrasound and intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to support safe, precise and efficient procedures. 
  • Assist with device management and case preparation while ensuring quality standards, routine equipment checks and performance improvement initiatives are met. 
  • Perform a wide scope of interventional procedures, from routine diagnostic angiography to complex vascular, non-vascular and therapeutic interventions. 
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and technologists as part of a multidisciplinary team, fostering a safe environment and contributing to the best possible patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education & Experience  

  • Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology required  
  • 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cardiac Cath Lab or Surgical Services required 
  • Annual demonstration of independent interventional radiologist proficiency required 

 

Licenses and Certifications  

  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required 
  • CRT - State of California Certified Radiologic Technologist required 
  • CRTFP - State of California Radiologic Tech Fluoroscopy Permit required 
  • ARRT - American Registry Radiologic Technologists required
