As Charge Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at Clovis Community, your role is to act as primary liaison for the care team with physicians, patients, families and all members of the assigned care team. Each shift the oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities flows through you and you’re the one responsible for coordinating patient flow and staff assignments. It’s a tall order and you’re ready to achieve those heights in your career. You'll join a close-knit team within a 16-bed unit known for its welcoming and supportive environment. Here, you'll provide patient-centered care to a range of acuity levels, from low-risk deliveries to high-risk pregnancy care, all within an environment that allows you to connect with patients and families. You'll have the opportunity to join a collaborative and compassionate team that supports each other and values every member's contributions.

Required  

• Current State of California Registered Nurse license required 
• Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association required 
• Minimum of two years of labor & delivery nursing experience 
• Minimum of six months Relief Charge RN (or a team leadership role) required

Preferred  

• Graduate of approved nursing program required, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
