As a PART-TIME Medical Equipment Planner at Community Health System — the largest healthcare system in our region — you’ll play a key role in supporting the design and development of modern healthcare facilities. By helping ensure safe, functional, and compliant environments, you’ll contribute to projects that directly impact patient care and the communities we serve. 

• Support hospital design and construction projects through equipment planning, cost estimating, budget tracking, procurement coordination, and integration with clinical operations. 

• Assist with the negotiation and administration of corporate agreements for medical and building capital equipment. 

• Contribute to the development of technical and contract requirements, participate in contract negotiations, and coordinate with Legal on finalizing agreements. 

• Ensure accurate documentation, timely communication, and effective collaboration with project teams, vendors, and clinical staff.

Education & Experience 

• Bachelor's Degree required 

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate and an additional 4 years of related experience may be substituted in lieu of the Bachelor’s Degree 
• 3 years in medical equipment planning or contract negotiation required
