Responsibilities

The Clinical Decision Support Analyst 2 works closely with other Quantitative Analysts in the design, methodology, statistical analysis and presentation of Quality Improvement measurement activities.
 
Accountabilities
 
1. Develop analytical reports to identify and monitor performance activities.
2. Conduct assessments to identify opportunities for data management and reporting improvements.
3. Consult with departmental personnel to review and interpret reports.
4. Create, design and implement databases and data integration solutions.
5. Develop methods of transforming data into actionable information through report presentation including charts, graphs, and spreadsheets and prepare finished packages for presentation.
6. Research literature to evaluate and recommend studies/opportunities for improvement which focus on the strategic priorities.
7. Direct certain projects requiring extensive statistical information as required.
8. Develop process to ensure data integrity and security related to the processes of collection, distribution, and analysis of results.
9. Coordinate with information systems and other departments as needed to optimize system integration and data flow.
10. Provide mentorship, guidance and training to analysts and staff.
11. Design reports using complex report writers for the purpose of analyzing data activity.
12. Distribute reports for review and approval as defined by departmental policy. Ensure all indicated corrections and changes are processed and reports are prepared prior to meetings.
13. Aggregate and present ad hoc statistical data as directed for accreditation, regulatory, risk management, and business planning.
14. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Business, Nursing, Information Systems or relevant field required
• Master's Degree in Statistics, Business, Nursing, Information Systems or relevant field preferred
 
Experience
• 4 years of applicable experience required
• Experience with report writing tools and scripting languages required
  • Experience with analytics, and high level of experience with excel highly preferred
