Community Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is the flagship hospital of Community Medical Centers, a private, not-for-profit healthcare system based in Fresno, California, and the largest healthcare provider and private employer in central California. Future plans include building a women and children's facility on campus and expanding with 65 additional beds. We're affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility and have trained 3,000 Medical Doctor's to date plus remain investing in research and training grants.

The Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) Technologist 2 specializes in using MR equipment to produce cross-sectional images to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Provides patient instruction of procedure method. Enforces MRI safety rules for all persons in MRI Safety Zones, functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Trains and/or provides guidance to MR students. Performs and understands routine quality control procedures and participates in performance improvement activities.

MINIMUM REQUIRED: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent MRI Technology program. Two years’ experience as a Magnetic Resonance Technologist.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current BLS certification.

American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Magnetic Resonance ARRT (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).

PREFERRED: CA. Department of Public Health Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) or Certified Technologist (CT) or Nuclear Medicine (NM).
