As a nurse in our telemetry unit in inpatient Cardiovascular Services, you will have unique learning opportunities. This is an adult telemetry unit specializing in the delivery of care to patients who have undergone elective surgeries, post open heart surgery, and urgent to emergent open heart surgeries. We also care for post-operative and post-cardiac catheterization lab patients who have undergone Trans-Catheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) or Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (angioplasty/stents).

 

Our patient population includes those with Congestive Heart Failure, Coronary Artery Disease, Post Myocardial Infarction and Cardiac Dysrhythmia. Your best day is when you and your team members discharge patients knowing you delivered compassionate, quality, efficient care. This is a 24 bed unit, with a 1:4 patient:nurse ratio. It’s a team environment looking for self-driven, highly-detailed nurses who communicate well.

 

Qualifications

Education
• Graduate of approved nursing program required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
 
Experience
• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required
 
Licenses and Certifications
• RN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license required
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
