Maintains and coordinates purchases supplies, equipment, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness and necessary materials for all departments. Serves as CMC's agent in dealing with vendors. Assist in implementation of effective internal materials management system. Responsible for effectively retrieving medications that have been recalled or discontinued by the manufacturer or the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety reasons.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: High school Diploma/GED and two (2) years of experience in a healthcare setting.

PREFERRED: Associate’s Degree. Three to five years purchasing experience in the healthcare industry.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current CA. Licensed Pharmacy Technician.

PREFERRED: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB).
