Overview

The Clinical Analyst is a vital member of our mission.

In this role you are responsible for managing assigned tasks related to clinical systems.  You will be accountable for the consulting, needs assessment, development of technical requirements, participation in system planning, participation in vendor product identification/review/selection, documentation of policies, procedures and methodologies in support of information systems initiatives and ongoing support to assigned areas.

Based in Fresno, California, we are a multi-specialty healthcare system comprised of four hospitals; Community Regional Medical Center, Clovis Community Medical Center, Fresno Heart & Surgical Hospital, Community Behavioral Health Center. Responsibilities

  • Analyzes, requests, develops system requirements, designs solutions and recommends the evaluation of enterprise applications strategies for review/consideration. Facilitates development of required needs analysis, and develops functional integration specifications for those changes or enhancements.
  • Utilizes proven project management principles to coordinate the implementation of new systems, applications, and operating systems, including documentation, without adverse effect on clinical operations.
  • Participates in the redesign efforts to expand/enhance information systems that support changes in the clinical processes.
  • Considers the clinical implications/opportunities while applying technology as an enabler to the environment.
  • Provides "level 2" application support. Analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves application system problems with minimal vendor intervention.
  • Knowledge of clinical process and problem solving in a clinical setting. 

Qualifications

 

Minimum required:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nursing or related field.  Three years’ experience with clinical information systems and with clinical system support and installations. Seven to ten years of relevant experience may be substituted for experience and education.
