Develops, implements and coordinates cardiac exercise programs tailored to each patient's particular needs. Performs testing and interpretation of non-invasive cardiac exercise tests, musculoskeletal endurance, strength and flexibility, body composition and analysis assessment.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology. One (1) year of direct patient care experience in a clinical setting.
PREFERRED: Master’s Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or Kinesiology.
MINIMUM REQUIRED: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification. ACSM Clinical Exercise Specialist (CES), ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP), or ACSM Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP).
PREFERRED: Certification in area specialty.
