    Business Intelligence Analyst Associate, Full Time


    Responsible for identifying business intelligence, reporting, and data analysis needs, and helping address business challenges through the use of data and visualizations. The Associate Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will be a key resource on the Enterprise Analytics team, expected to work closely with business users and IS teams to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. Incumbent will be a business and technical resource to develop scalable and intuitive dashboards, reporting solutions, and other visualizations. Manages and supports technical and user aspects of BI solutions, and will use appropriate programming and design methodologies to design and develop high quality analytical products. Will take direction and guidance from senior analysts to work towards enhancement of self and the team’s capabilities around data and analytic competencies.

    In this role some of your key responsibilities would include but are not limited to:


    1. Under appropriate guidance, works on complex and cross-functional business intelligence and data analytics solutions, collaborating effectively with IS and other Corporate departments, Clinical Operations, Business Operations, Facility staff, and Executive stakeholders.
    2. Develops automated reports and dashboards using various BI tools such as Tableau, SAP BusinessObjects, Crystal Reports, etc.
    3. Collaborates with corporate and facility resources to design, create, test, and implement analytic tools (databases, reports, applications, dashboards, etc.) that support stakeholder needs and to improve data collection and reporting strategies.
    4. Develops methods of transforming data into actionable information through report presentation including charts, graphs, and spreadsheets and prepares finished packages for presentation.
    5. Effectively facilitates cross-functional teams, influencing people through leadership, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence results, gain support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization.
    6. Acts as a subject matter expert and an internal consultant to teams across the enterprise in accordance with their clinical, operational, and other strategic efforts that require advanced analytical support.
    7. Conceptualizes and develops programs that support the department’s goal to enhance clinical and operational performance improvement with data analytics.
    8. Possesses a good understanding of BI tools, technology platform, and related systems to handle queries about clinical and business data/analytical solutions.
    9. Performs thorough data quality and profiling activities of self and staff work to ensure that information delivered from BI solutions is reliable and of consistently high quality.
    10. Develops a high-level understanding of BI tool architecture, functions, features and capabilities to guide users with data discovery and analysis. Collaborates with vendors and other external entities to support and expand analytical tools, expertise, and offerings for the organization.




    Business Intelligence Analyst Associate Experience and education minimum requirements:



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field.
    • Three years of experience in Business/Data Analysis, Healthcare Analytics, Healthcare Quality, Clinical and Operational decision support, or related field.
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.



    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems, or related field
